Start Your Biology Course Online Today
An introductory biology course online. Students will become familiar with the nature of science and the ways in which scientific tools are used to investigate living systems. Students will understand the basic structure and function of cells as organisms and as part of multicellular organisms. Students will become familiar with the history of genetics, and understand how cells reproduce and how information is transmitted from one generation to the next. Each module will be accompanied with an online laboratory.
Note: Our Biology I course online is a great addition to degree programs that are already underway. Students may also take this course to complete a different degree program not affiliated with Doane University. Doane's Open Learning Courses are not a part of any degree program at Doane University.
