What to Recycle

Material that can be recycled:

  • Cardboard
  • Phone books
  • Newspapers including glossy fliers.
  • Magazines
  • Paper (all colors)
  • Plastics Numbered 1-7 (includes plastic bottles and containers)
  • Poster board
  • Envelops/ Folders
  • Aluminum cans
  • Newspapers, Magazines, Catalogs
  • Telephone/Soft Cover Books
  • Direct Mail/Envelopes (all types)
  • Paper (all colors, staples/paperclips are okay)
  • Paperboard (cereal/shoe boxes)
  • Milk/Juice Cartons
  • Cardboard/Brown Paper Bags
  • Soda/Juice/Water Bottles (plastic)
  • Metal Cans (tin/steel/aluminum)
  • Milk Jugs, Bleach/Detergent, Shampoo Bottles

What cannot be recycled:

  • NO Glass
  • NO Styrofoam No Foam Packaging*, No Styrofoam
  • NO Wood
  • NO Electronics including batteries
  • NO waxed paper (Tiger Inn cups/paper food carriers)
  • NO Plastic sacks (even 1-7 plastic sacks.  Note that these sacks can be recycled at the local grocery stores.)
  • No Food Liners
  • No Plastic Bags
  • No Unmarked Plastics (laundry baskets/chairs/toys)
  • No Recyclables Containing Food Waste
