Past Wiley Awards

Senior major Nicole Harms is part of the inaugural group of students who did the new data analytics track in the Mathematics & Data Analytics major, and she has done it exceptionally. She has maintained a 3.98 GPA (with another major in accounting), led a team of students in creating a high school data analytics competition, did an analytics internship with Lincoln company , and included a variety of multivariate statistics techniques in her senior research project. In addition, as an MDA teaching assistant, she helped developed statistics training modules for classes which will be used for years to come. This award recognizes Nicole's excellent work in the past and present, and celebrates her promising future in the field of data analytics or data science.
