Relay For Life

Relay For Life is an international movement centered on raising money to support cancer research. Doane was one of the first college campuses in the nation to host a Relay For Life event in 1995. Since then, Doane University/Saline County Relay For Life has made a name for itself nationally, placing in the top 3 schools in the nation in funds raised per capita multiple times since 2010. Doane's annual Relay event brings together hundreds of students, employees, and community members to honor cancer caregivers and survivors in the Saline County community, and remember those lost to cancer.
