Center for Computing in the Liberal Arts

The Doane Center for Computing in the Liberal Arts  (CCLA) provides a collaborative and supportive learning environment for computer programming, staffed by a knowledgeable team, and is available to all students and faculty at Doane University. The CCLA is also here to help you learn how to best utilize computer resources to accomplish your goals in research, life, or just for fun. Learning these computer skills will help anyone in any discipline, so even if you are uncertain if a computer can help you solve a problem, stop in and see if we can help.

CCLA Peer Consultants (PCs) can be found in the 24/7 computer lab at the front of the Learning Commons. Hours for the Fall 2022 semester are Monday through Thursday evenings, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m., and Thursday mornings from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. Updated contact information and an online scheduling system will be coming soon!

For additional information about the CCLA, please feel free to learn about our Staff, browse through our FAQ, and make use of our extensive Resources to help you.
