This year is Tracee’s 26th year of service to Doane University,  she brings a wealth of experience and commitment to both academics and athletics. Commencing her tenure in 1998, she embarked on a multifaceted journey within the institution, initially contributing as a member of the esteemed math department while also serving as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. This dual role laid the foundation for her subsequent leadership as the Head Coach of Doane Women's Basketball, a position held with distinction for 20 years until her transition in 2019.

Throughout her coaching tenure, she seamlessly integrated her passion for education, concurrently instructing math classes and guiding students with undeclared majors, all while actively participating in various university committees. Her educational journey comes full circle, having earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Doane University, where she also thrived as a student-athlete on the women's basketball team.

Prior to her career at Doane, she worked at Geneva Public School (now Fillmore Central), where she taught mathematics across grades 7 through 12 and assumed leadership roles in volleyball and basketball programs for 2 years.

Beyond academics and athletics, she cherishes moments spent with her beloved family, including her three children, Brynna, Gracey, and Brysen. Whether cheering on her children at sporting events or indulging in outdoor pursuits and country music concerts, she prioritizes quality time with loved ones and relishes every opportunity to foster meaningful connections.
