Honors Program Study Abroad
The Honors Program is for first-year students at Doane and allows them to join a cohort of like-minded students seeking a broader, more in-depth perspective on the world. Students will take one class within the Honors Program each semester, with one semester used for Study Abroad. Students in the program receive first access to courses before others in their grade level.
The Honors Program requires students to maintain a 3.5GPA throughout all four years and to complete an independent Research project during their final year at Doane University.

Studying Abroad within the Honors Program
Students within the Honors Program are required to participate in a study abroad program. Students will have opportunities that may provide additional resources not available to other students. Students may travel anywhere approved by the Office of International Programs but are encouraged to look at all programs offered through ISEP.
Students in the Honors Program must enroll in an ISEP study abroad program to be eligible for full semester funding or a $2,000 scholarship for a summer experience.
