We offer learning analytics, course design, and programmatic assessment, including the design and validation of survey instruments. Our office operates on a continuous feedback loop of design - test - redesign - test to make informed decisions on professional development, course design, pedagogical-andragogical design reforms, and technological advances.
All faculty and staff are welcome to work collaboratively with the E-Learning team. The E-Learning team supports Doane's self-paced courses that are convenient, flexible, and high-quality. E-Learning professionals work with subject matter experts to develop new and innovative directions. We are also available to assist faculty with design, development, and adaptation of current face-to-face or instructor lead online courses into the self-paced E-Learning model. The team stays on the cutting edge of the instructional design field, working to incorporate the right strategies and technologies to enhance student engagement. Training and Development
Online Education Services provides training in course development. Our approach is evidence-based and focused on student success and engagement. We also offer training in the delivery of online courses, including effective use of the Learning Management System; developing instructor presence; increasing engagement, interaction, and community; and fostering intrinsic motivation.
