Please take this time to ensure your emergency contact information with Doane is current. We can use our system to send messages that are relevant to your safety. Primarily, we want to ensure we have your current cell phone number!

Updates
We have received reports of theft and suspicious activity within the last few days. Most likely, these are cases of individuals taking advantage of our community's current focus on helping each other. Please note the following:
- Beginning tomorrow morning (Wednesday), we will only be unlocking keyless entry doors on buildings. This allows us the ability to lockdown the campus (if needed) immediately. We appreciate your patience and willingness to utilize those entrances.
- All students and employees should have their Doane ID card with them while they are on campus. Requests to open doors, pick up keys, or access areas will not be approved without a Doane ID card. If you need a new ID card, please contact our office at doanesafetyoffice@doane.edu.
- Due to a change in event schedules across campus, we will be securing doors to all buildings at 5pm (or earlier if there are no events/activities) and they will remain closed on weekends. We will make changes in the event of a preplanned activity with off-campus guests. However if the event is for Doane community member, please utilize your ID card.
